Lost Boy Color Version

Hey lovley DeviantArt Community,

here is my latest work. The lost Boy.
I tried to play a little bit with color and value, and I had a lot of fun with this picture.
What do you think, what should I improve and what could be better?
I know there is a small issues with the perspective, but I was too lazy to fix it

What do you think about the color, and the composition. Is it working?
I tried to push the rats (the monster) and the boy into the focus, but I am not sure if it works like that or not.
I just looked too long at that picture, thats why I need your statements.
